1. What is the MyVenueNow Profile located in the upper right corner?

1. How do I create a Peer Profile?
Click Create Profile in the Peer login Box.
Fill in all the Peer Registration information – Click Register.
Click on the confirmation link in your email.
2. How do I log into my Peer Profile?
On the Home page, click "Forgot your Password?" under Peer Login. On the Forgot Password page, enter your registered email address and click submit. Once you receive the changing password request email, click on the link provided in the email and a new password will be sent to your email.
4. How do I upload my Peer Profile Picture?
When logged into your profile click Edit (Load Pict.), then click browse to the right of (Profile Picture) and choose your profile picture. (Max allowed file size: 2MB)
5. How do I upload a video?
When logged into your profile click Edit (upload video), then click browse to the right of (Profile Video) and choose your profile video. (Max allowed file size: 10MB)
6. How do I set my Profile Preferences?
Under edit load video click Set Profile Preferences, and choose all that apply.
7. How do I set my background picture?
When logged into your profile click Set Background, then click browse to the right and choose your profile Background picture. Choose tiled or centered option. (Max allowed file size: 10MB) You may also delete your existing Background.
8. How do I change my Peer Profile password?
Below Upload Profile Video On your Peer profile click on Change Password in. Enter Current Password, New Password & Confirm Password. NOTE** Password must be a minimum of 8 characters.
9. Password Etiquette.
We recommend you Do Not make your Password Guess Worthy.
· Do not use a common dictionary word – not even spelled backwards. Don’t use your name, a relative’s, a close friends or pet’s name.
· Don’t use personal numbers, such as your driver’s license, license plate, social security, telephone, or birth date.
· It’s a good idea to change your passwords monthly and if you must write them down, put them in a safe place and don’t include the URL.
10. Strong Passwords.
We recommend you follow these tips when creating your password.
· Use at least one upper case letter
· Use at least one lower case letter
· Use a number
· Use a symbol character from this special set: ' ! @ $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + [ ] ; : ' " , < . > / ?
· Use at least eight characters
· Don't use repeating characters
· Don't use spaces

13. How to create a Blog?
Above profile picture on your peer profile click the blog button in the upper leftcorner Click add article then give the blog a title, announcement and a body. Once done click Save.
14. How to create a photo Album?
Above profile picture click Photo Album then Add Album
15. Why does my Skype status show I’m offline when I am online?
First verify you have provided the correct Skype Account name in your Peer Profile Preferences. Next verify Skype is installed on your Computer. Once these steps are complete,
Open Skype, click tools, click options then click privacy. Check the “allow my online status to be shown from the web” check box and click save.
16. What is Peer Pressure?
Peer Pressure is a list of your Peers favorite venues. Click view all to see a list of all of your peers favorite venues. From the view all Peer pressure screen, select a Peer to view all of their favorite venues. Once a Peer is selected, you then have the option to add a venue as a favorite, send a venue to another peer or view the Business Venue Profile.
17. What is MyVenue Review?
MyVenue Reviews allows you to view your latest two reviews or click View All to view all the reviews you posted.
18. What is the Comment section?
In the Comment Section, you will find comments that your peers have left on your Blogs.
19. What is the News Feed Section?
In the News Feed Section, you will find all the info about what your peers are doing. Such as:
· Who is posting on your peers profile
· Who is creating new blogs
· Who is commenting on blogs
· Who is writing a business review
· Who is setting a new favorite business
· Who is accepting who as a Peer
· Who updated their profile picture or video
· Who created a new photo album
· Event notifications from your favorite businesses
· Event notifications from your peers
20. What is Venue Preferences?
Venue Preferences shows you examples of venues you may be interested in visiting based on the Venue Categories you selected in your Peer Profile Preferences.
21. What are Peers?
Peers are your Friends. You can view the 7 most recent peers on your peer profile and you can view all your peers by clicking View All.
22. What is Favorite Venues?
Favorite Venues is a listing of the 7 most recent Favorite Venues on your peer profile and you can view all your Favorite Venues by clicking View All.
23. Who are the Peers under "Would you like to be Friends"?
The Peers located under the “Would you like to be Friends” section are recommendations of people you may know because you are already friends with one of their friends.
24. What is My Events?
My Events is a Calendar that you can use to post events at Venues you have selected as your Favorite.
25. How do I post an Event?
Click on the My Events Link on your Profile page. Fill in all the info located below the calendar. *NOTE* You can ONLY post events at venues that you have selected as your favorite. Click Post Event.

2. How to create a Venue Profile?
Click Create a Profile in the Venue login box or Click the Advertise with us link in the upper right corner of the Home Page.
· Fill in all required Fields
· Click Create Log In

5. How do I Edit My Profile?
Above profile picture on your Business Venue profile click on Edit Profile in the upper left corner. NOTE** Fields denoted with an Asterisk (*) are required.

12. How do I List hours of operation?
When logged into your Business Venue profile click Edit next to Business Hours on the bottom left of your page. Type your Business Hours, and then click Submit.
13. How do I Show specials?
When logged into your Business Venue profile click Edit next to Specials on the bottom left of your page. Type your Specials, and then click Submit.
14. How do I Post an Event?
When logged into your Business Venue profile click the Grey Post Event button on right side of profile.
15. How do I Edit an Event?
When logged into your Business Venue profile click on the Event you want to edit Listed under Events on the upper right of your profile. Click Edit Event on the right side of the Event Details page. Make changes as necessary and click the Post an Event Button.
16. How do I Delete an Event?
When logged into your Business Venue profile under Events click on the event name you wish delete, when the event is displayed click on Delete Event and then OK to confirm.
17. How do I send notification about an event?
When logged into your Business Venue profile under Events click on the event name you wish to send, when the event is displayed click on Send Notification about Event.
19. How do I List my coupons?

The Answer is No.
Only Business's that have a #2 Business Venue Profile can upload Banners to our site.
You can choose a Horizontal 528x100 or a Vertical 180x348.

On the Register Banner page, click BROWSE next to Upload an Existing Banner.

Our MyVenueNow Design Team will Design a Banner for your Business for Free!
On the Register Banner page, check the "Need Banner Design Help" check box and a member of our Design Team will contact you.
After the Banner is designed and approved by you, the designer will upload the Banner to the site.

You have the option to run a Banner for 1, 2, 3 or 4 Weeks.
First, you must sign up for a #3 Business Venue Profile.
When logged into your Business Venue Profile, click YOUR BANNER on the upper right side of your profile page.
Click ADD BANNER.
On the REGISTER BANNER page, fill in all required fields that are denoted with an asterisk (*)
If you have an existing Banner, click BROWSE next to the Insert Exiting Banner and choose your existing Banner from your computer. (Max allowed file size: 1MB)
If you do NOT have an existing banner and need our help to create one, Check the "I Need Banner Design Help" check box and one of our Graphic Designer's will contact you.
You MUST check the I Agree to the No Refund Policy Check box, then click Pay/Submit
Banner Ad's are placed on the City page or State pages and on he directory pages for a specific category or sub-category.
